APEX is looking for a Retail Sales Executive who will be responsible for overseeing the sales efforts of the retail sales team. They will be tasked with developing and implementing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and achieving sales goals.
The Sales Executive would be responsible for the following:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Managing and motivating sales staff to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets.
- Analysing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Maintaining a positive and productive work environment for staff.
- Assisting customers with sales and answering any questions they may have.
- Managing inventory and ensuring that the store is well-stocked.
- Training and developing sales staff on product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Building and developing relationships with key customers.
- Collaborating with other departments to improve overall company performance.
We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- Extensive sales experience in selling fresh and frozen perishable produce.
- Experienced in the retail industry within Africa.
- Excellent and proven sales track record.
- Experience in managing a team particularly one with different cultures, not only South African cultures.
- Experience in living and working outside of their home country.

Package & Remuneration
The position will pay a market related salary dependent on experience. The company will also provide a car and a cell phone contract for the incumbent. Accommodation is the responsibility of the incumbent; however, the first month’s rental will be covered by the company. One annual return airplane ticket to the original country or residence are also included in the package.
