Sugar Beach is looking for a Restaurant Manager who will be responsible for the operation, management and overall performance of the Food and Beverage operations
Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth function of the day to day operations in connection with staffing, customer services and product quality;
- Delegate of duties and responsibilities to his subordinates where necessary to ensure the proper functioning of all phases of F&B service in the areas under his control;
- Implement all standardized procedures, rules and regulations systematically to be in line with hotel standards and policies.
Profile:
- A Diploma in Hotel Management or any alternative qualification would be an advantage;
- Incumbent must have worked for at least 3 years as Head Waiter and be fully conversant with Restaurant Operations;
- Should be fluent in English and French. (A third language would be an advantage);
- Candidates should be prepared to work odd hours, late shifts, Public Holidays and Sundays
- Familiar with Micros and computer literate (MS Word, Excel & E-mail);
- Should have the ability to work within a team as the position requires interfacing with all Management staff;
- Must have good leadership skills;
- Should be responsible for the smooth running of the outlet in terms of Manning, Maximising Profits & Cost Control;
- Salary and conditions of employment will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
