Our client is looking to recruit a Relationship Manager. The jobholder will be responsible for business development both with the new customers and with existing customers where they are expected to increase wallet share.

Maintain Relationship Plans for all customers in the portfolio such that contact with customers is prioritized;
Conduct annual and if appropriate interim reviews of customers borrowing facilities;
Deal with and find solutions to customer complaints;
Determine the products that are most effective in meeting customer s needs and be able to sell these at short notice both reactively and proactively;
Spend time to visit customer;
Work with specialist like Trade Finance and Treasury to maximize sales of these products to customers;
Overall responsibility for the bank’s relationship with customers including negotiation of pricing and service levels;
Monitor and ensure adherence to risk service standards;
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements;
Research, create and follow up on a target list for potential new business;
Control and quality of the portfolio, using available triggers and adherence to Risk Management guidelines and policies;
Manage and control portfolio within agreed limits;
Work in partnership with CCM partner on new and existing credit applications, providing guidance on credit appetite and consulting with Credit team as appropriate;
Ensure proper segmentation codes are applied against assigned portfolio of customers;
Ensure that subordinated are providing consistent service quality and risk within risk framework.
Graduate in a relevant field; should have spent a minimum of 5 years at Management Level
Degree with 7 years relevant work experience with minimum 5 years at managerial level or Masters with 6 years’ experience or equivalent of 10 years bank related experience;
Knowledge of the Corporate set of products as well as a broad understanding of products available in the Company;
Understanding of the policies and strategies with the country as they relate to the demands of the customer base;
Product Knowledge / Team Leader;
Relationship and General Business skills;
Credit Risk and Structuring Skills.
