As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will work under the supervision of a Project Manager. You will work closely with project programmers during every stage of application development and project delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
General Responsibilities:
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for creating, documenting and executing application performance tests designed to insure delivery of quality, high-performance and stable products that adhere to customer specifications. You will insure that TM applications are functional at all times.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Insure delivery of high-quality software applications that are consistent with specified needs.
- Work closely with business analysts and the development team during the design and execution phases of application performance tests.
- Design testing scenarios.
- Execute manual tests (functional, integrated, and non-regression) on TM applications.
- Conduct follow-up on reported bugs and new programming requests.
- Participate in customer-acceptance testing and provide support to end users.
- Produce status reports for internal team members.
- Participate in implementing ISO standards and in developing new tools for the Quality Assurance department.
- Raise, recommend and implement changes that will improve the efficiency of quality assurance processes.
- Train new internal resources.
- Conduct your tasks in an independent fashion with minimal supervision.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in software development/IT or equivalent
- Bilingualism in English ( advanced level) and French ( intermediate level)
- Exemplary problem solving, analytical and time management skills
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Good understanding of Web application development
- Analytical experience (asset)
