Rey & Lenferna Ltd is looking for a Product Engineer (Sales Engineer) to ensure the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the organisation.

JOB PROFILE

Role & responsibilities:

• Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
• Provide expert advice on installations, commissioning and service to customers that meet or exceed their expectations.
• Prospect for new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
• Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
• Follow up with suppliers on technical aspects of existing and new products.
• Ensure that a long-term business partnership is built-up with our customers.
• Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices.
• Keep up to date with competitors’ strategies and evaluate the viability and marketability of new products.
• Ensure to regularly have market information to adjust sales strategies.
• Route qualified opportunities for further development and closure.
• Any other cognate duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Knowledge, Skills & Attitude:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferably in Electrical together with a Diploma or Certificate in Sales/Marketing. 
• Proven experience in this position.
• Product knowledge to provide expert advice and specifications to meet clients’ expectations.
• Up to date with marketing and industry insights.
• Ability to build network to leverage relationships, and create customer network.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• Holder of a driving license.
