Payroll Officer

Rey & Lenferna Ltd is looking for a Payroll Officer to ensure the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the Human Resources department.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate attendance report of all employees.
• Collect and analyze employee data and using those data to create employee profiles.
• Collect timesheets / attendance reports at set intervals.
• Calculate bonuses and allowances.
• Prepare employees’ compensation by the end of each month.
• Ensure wages and tax withholdings comply with regulations.
• Collect, calculate, and enter data in payroll system order to maintain and update payroll information.
• Assist Management and employees about compensations, benefits, taxes and insurance deductions.
• Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently.

Knowledge, Skills and Attitude:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management / Accounting/ management
• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Good knowledge of the Workers’ Rights Act.
• Excellent verbal, written communication in both English and French.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Strong analytical skills
