Job Description and Specification
- Coordinate and supervise the daily Food & Beverage operations.
- Assist the Food & Beverage Manager and the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager in conducting frequent spot checks in order to ascertain that work practices comply with the standard operating procedures of the Food & Beverage department.
- Need to do billing.
- Need to ensure the key is properly kept.
- Daily routine to check occupied, vacant dirty, departure, vacant clean room
- To check expired date to avoid complain.
- Lost and found to report to head house keeper and security.
- Ensure rotation of all mini-bar products.
- Properly complete, maintain and track inventory in assigned storerooms.
- Communicate effectively with Mini-Bar Vending Supervisor any issues and/or concerns.
- Ensure all duties found in the refreshment center inspection/attendant evaluation checklist are followed including completing assigned floors, cleanliness of assigned mini-bars, menus are present, inventory is complete, and refill reports are accurately filled out.
- Display appropriate two-way radio etiquette at all times.
- Report all mini-bar concerns to management including any guest issues.
- Perform any other duties deemed necessary for the success of the department.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of Point of sale (POS) systems, Handheld POS, inventory and store requisition software and reporting tools.
- Previous experience in hotel industry.
Requirements
- At least School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
- National Certificate Level 4 in Restaurant and Bar Operations or equivalent qualifications.
- Tertiary education at Advanced Certificate or Diploma level majoring in Hospitality Management from a recognized institution or equivalent qualifications.

- A keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and communication skills in both English and French languages. A third language would be a definite advantage.
- Willingness to work during odd hours, weekends as well as on Public Holidays.
- Valid Food Handlers’ Certificate.
- A clean certificate of character is a must.
