MERCHANDISER

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Let’s see what your main focus will be:

• Create potential order & request individual yarn booking and stock accessories booking.
• Request pre-planning, negotiate ex-date with customer & monitor order confirmation.
• Request planning, negotiate ex-date with customers & confirm planning internally.
• Analyze and mitigate risks in terms of new processes, machine, yarn/fabric or accessory, limited capacities and previous experience.
• Complete order entries including order details, colour combo, customer PO & quantity breakdown.
• Issue production instructions Right First Time.
• Request & follow up on bulk fabrics and accessories testing.
• Issue Proforma Invoice based on customers` Purchase Order.
• Monitor critical order milestones from receipt of customer PO to shipment.
• Plan 3^rd party inspections (if applicable) and assist Shipping team for shipment booking.
• Handle customer communication for confirmed orders.

DESIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• BSc in Fashion & Textile Design / Fashion Technology / Sales & Marketing
• At least 2 years of previous relevant experience as Merchandiser in the Textile industry
