As a Medical Secretary / Receptionist, you will manage the reception desk and the administrative tasks in the office.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Greet and assist patients/visitors.
- Answer, screen and forward any incoming/outcoming phone calls while providing basic information needed.
- Manage patient appointment - schedules, send appointment reminders and follow-ups via calls or emails.
- Manage patient details and medical records.
- Ensure physician productivity by maintaining and communicating calendar.
- Prepare and manage medical reports and memos.
- Perform other secretarial duties such as typing, filing, photocopying, faxing, amongst others.
- Prepare, type all correspondences and reports accurately and timeously.
- To liaise with staff in other departments and with external stakeholders.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Maintain office supplies and medical supplies.
- Maintain office and working areas clean and operational.
- Ensure that all Covid Protocols are respected.
- Any other cognate duties.
Education (Academic, Professional, Technical):
- Higher School Certificate (HSC) with certificate and/or Diploma in Secretarial duties
- Between 3 to 5 years’ experience in medical sector or related field.
