As a Medical Secretary / Receptionist, you will manage the reception desk and the administrative tasks in the office.

 

 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Greet and assist patients/visitors.
  • Answer, screen and forward any incoming/outcoming phone calls while providing basic information needed.
  • Manage patient appointment - schedules, send appointment reminders and follow-ups via calls or emails.
  • Manage patient details and medical records.
  • Ensure physician productivity by maintaining and communicating calendar.
  • Prepare and manage medical reports and memos.
  • Perform other secretarial duties such as typing, filing, photocopying, faxing, amongst others.
  • Prepare, type all correspondences and reports accurately and timeously.
  • To liaise with staff in other departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Maintain office supplies and medical supplies.
  • Maintain office and working areas clean and operational.
  • Ensure that all Covid Protocols are respected.
  • Any other cognate duties.

Education (Academic, Professional, Technical):

  • Higher School Certificate (HSC) with certificate and/or Diploma in Secretarial duties
  • Between 3 to 5 years’ experience in medical sector or related field.
