Mechanical Engineer

Ekium AMIO Ltd. (formerly Consultec Ltd.) is a fast-expanding engineering design and consultancy firm operating in the industrial engineering, building services, automation, and process control industries.

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fast-expanding sector of our business. She/He will be assigned the following duties:

• Development of conceptual process equipment layouts, piping layout and pipe routing.
• Development of layouts using specifications, standard drawings, design instructions, plot plan, flow diagrams, line lists and supplier information.
• Preparation of piping design basis.
• Development of piping and valve material specifications.
• Review of piping design drawings including general arrangement drawings, isometrics, supports, bill of quantities/materials.
• Development and upgrade of technical specifications and standards.
• Performing design calculations (Mechanical and Process)
• Preparation of schedules, selection of supports, including design of special supports with load calculations.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office and ROBOT

Requirements:

• BEng in Mechanical / Mechatronics
• 3 – 5 years’ experience
