To oversee all components of a construction project related to the mechanical, electrical and plumbing or MEP elements of the facility.
Reporting to the Senior MEP Coordinator, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Review MEP contractor shop drawing prior submitting for service coordination
- Advise on any impact on services caused by architectural changes and raise query to MEP Manager & Consultant
- Liaise with Project Manager on matter seeking advice/requiring assistance
- Provide technical advice to construction team
- Oversee MEP service installation under civil contractor scope of works
- Carry out inspection for MEP Contractor material along with QA/QC and Consultant
- Establish and monitor quality standards for all M&E works
- Establish, coordinate and monitor the quality assurance program for electrical installation works performed
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience preferably gained in a construction or contracting environment
Other Requisites:
- Computer literate and fully conversant with MS Office applications
- Self-organised and flexible on working hours
- Holder of a valid driving license
