Location:The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment; working remotely as well as at the closest office location from the Mauritius Dayforce Office. 

About the opportunity 
Our US MajorsTeam in Services is looking for new individuals to join as Project Coordinators. For this newly set up role, the incumbent must be able to provide Project Managers with regular updates on the status of Exports for projects so they can be ready per the schedule. 

The coordinator will also manage residual projects and support the administrative aspects of project management. They will be accountable to progress live projects through to a successful completion.


What you’ll get to do 

  • Leverage Dayforce’s implementation methodology as the Co-Ordinator to help support the Project Managers in the delivery of Exports according to the agreed upon scope, timeline, and budget and with a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work with the project team Technical Consultants and Mappers to ensure exports successfully complete requirements activities, development, testing, and deployment to the Live environment. Ensure their successful delivery meets project timelines.
  • Interact with Technical Consultants, Mappers and provide clear and concise status updates on the health and status of the exports to the Project Managers and clients.
  • Manage and mitigate the risks to avoid export delays and update the Project Manager.
  • Triage any issues with various stakeholders (internal/external) to ensure the scope of work is achievable and aligned to the Statement of Work and/or Change Requests.
  • Manage multiple, concurrent residual projects ensuring quality and on-time closure.
  • Adhere to and promote highest quality standards in project delivery.
  • Assist in driving the UAT process thorough metrics and reporting.
  • Prepare Change Requests as required to capture change in scope and/or timeline.
  • Manage Residual projects post Go Live to successful completion.
  • Assist Project Managers with Project Administration activities.

Skills and experience we value 

  • Excellent communication skills, with a high level of written and verbal English
  • Experience in customer services.
  • Exposure to basic project management principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products .
  • Exposure to analytical tools.
  • Ability to deal with multiple clients projects at the same time
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a high level of initiative.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree, Project Management certificate or equivalent experience
  • PMI/PMP certification in progress preferred.
  • Excellent organization and collaboration skills
