Junior Agronomist

Medine Agriculture is looking for a motivated and experienced candidate to join its team as Junior Agronomist.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining agronomic activities records up to date.
• Assist in the supervision, and monitoring of basic agronomic activities.
• Undertake field operations such as conduct sampling of soil, and plant materials as and when required.
• Assist in the setting-up and follow-up of agronomic trials and research programs.
• Effectively provide feedback on assigned tasks.
• Provide meaningful assistance to the operations team as and when needed.
• Assist in the implementation of sustainable agriculture technics.
•  Assist in the continuous improvement of the business productivity.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor degree in Agriculture or any other equivalent technical Qualification.
• Knowledge in sugarcane farming would be an advantage.
• Holder of a valid driver’s license.
• Familiar with good and modern agriculture practices.
• Good research and analytical skills.
• Knowledge in sugarcane farming would be an advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Organizational and planning ability with an administrative flair.
• Able to work in team and encourage knowledge sharing.
