IT Support Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused IT Helpdesk Engineer to join our dynamic IT support team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, addressing hardware and software issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, guiding users through step-by-step solutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Manage and prioritize support requests to ensure timely resolution and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, solutions, and procedures.
• Assist in the deployment and upgrade of IT systems and software.
• Conduct user training sessions to enhance overall IT literacy.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to contribute to continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security protocols.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Helpdesk Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
• Familiarity with networking principles and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
