Our client is seeking to recruit an IT Administrator who will report to the Director and/or any designated Manager. The IT Administrator will be responsible for helpdesk support and other technical matters. The successful candidate will form part of the IT infrastructure and support team.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to engagement team to integrate client's strategy, process, people, and technology.
- Participate as a fieldwork team member in Technology Consulting engagements.
- Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.
- Leverage data and technology to assist senior team members in providing innovative solutions to client's challenges.
- Assist in preparing high quality work products for clients and other related parties in timely manner.
- Anticipate and identify risks within engagements and raise any issues with senior members of the team.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.
- Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures.
- Build strong internal relationships within GT Advisory and with other services across the organization and work as a team player.
- Monitor non-authorized software and ensure network is protected from malware and viruses
- Implement IT policies within the organization with regards to password security, media, browsing and USB controls .
- Maintain asset register.
- Provide network support and maintenance.
- Priorities and assist with project and ad-hoc related technical requests.
- Onboarding / Offboarding of Staff.
- IT Custodian for IT Assets, IT Governance and IT Policies.
Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Networking & Firewall Support DNS/ DHCP.
- MS Server 2008-2019.
- MS Windows 7 - 10.
- Office 2010-2019 & O365.
- Onboarding / Off boarding Users (Joiners/Leavers).
- Anti-Virus Management.
- Various Application Support.
- VoIP Telephony Support.
- Email Support.
- IT Ticket & Solution Systems.
- Do proper sharing of workflows on work/Training manuals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
