To perform a variety of HR support duties and responsibilities and assist in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources and Administration Department
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To assist and support the Directors in the daily HR duties and provide employee support.
- To maintain the daily attendance record of the employees of the company on the attendance record system and ensure that the attendance records are up to date and should there be any absence same has to be justified.
- To process , verify and maintain that Employee Personnel related documents, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance appraisal and classification of leaves records are all up to date.
- To assist Directors in planning and preparation of various staff meetings
- Payroll Processing & Computation ( Monthly & Fortnightly)
- Expatriate Management (Work Permit / Residence Permit)
- To liaise as and when required with the relevant authorities (Ministry of Labour, Immigration)
- Recruitment and selection Process
- Letters ( Warnings , Attestations , etc .. )
- To prepare Roaster on a weekly basis
- Attend queries from employees.
- Any other cognate duties
KEY SKILLS AND REQUIRED CHARACTERISTICS:
- HSC + Advanced Certificate in Human Resources Management or equivalent
- At least 2-3 years experience in HR in Manufacturing or Textile Industry would be an advantage
- Good knowledge and Hands on experience of time and attendance system (Vipertex) and Excellent knowledge in a computerized payroll software and/or Fast learner of payroll systems
- Good knowledge of the statutory obligations with regards to overtime payment, minimum wages to be paid based on the prevailing legislations ERA and/or Remuneration Order.
