The HR Executive will be responsible for the support in various HR Functions and Tools/ system already in place within the company.This individual must apply knowledge of various HR processes and policies and should have good knowledge of local labor laws.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HR support and advice to managers on all areas of human capital management.
- Manage the end to end recruitment and selection procedures
- Screen potential candidates for match against criteria and for any adverse records
- Organise and advertise recruitment activities for specific and peak requirements, e.g. job fair, radio and press adverts, social media publications
- Track staff movement, attrition and ensure that vacancies are filled within stipulated time using the most effective and cost efficient methods and sources.
- Assist the HR Manager for employee relations matters such as behavioural and performance/ capability issues and be effective in the management of such matters.
- Represent the company at any HR related committee, hearing and/or any other meeting affecting the HR interest of the company.
- Identify critical employee training needs in collaboration with Heads of Department, design the annual training calendar, supervise its execution and monitor the effectiveness of such training.
- Participate in the development and implementation of different HR projects.
- Direct and monitor the conduct of performance appraisal as per set schedules, provide technical guidance to appraisers, oversee proper documentation and timely decision making of related decisions.
- Work with the HR Manager to ensure all transactional and operational HR needs are managed in a timely manner.
- Assist in the development and implementation of appropriate HR Policies and Procedure
- Handle staff complaints and grievances in a proactive manner
- Keep records and update management on a variety of matters including absence, poor performance, terminations, disciplinary and grievance matters, and flexible working arrangements.
- Support HR Manager with the implementation of people programs and initiatives.
- Assist for salary reviews
- Maintain attrition/retention statistics as well as headcount and exit data
- Ensure that the HRIS is updated accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist the HR Manager in fostering constructive relationship with the Labour Office/Ministry of Labour and Workers Union
- Perform any other cognate duties as required
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold as minimum a Degree in Human Resources Management
- Have at least 3-4 years’ experience in a generalist HR position
- Possess sound Knowledge of the Employment Rights Act
- Possess sound knowledge of compensation and benefits administration
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Good leadership skills
- Good time management and people skills
- Good Excel Skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in the BPO Sector would be an advantage
