Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, in the hospitality sector, is looking for a Group Supply Chain Manager.

 

Our client, in the hospitality sector, is looking for a Group Supply Chain Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of the strategic plan the unit and the management of all Supply Chain activities in the organization.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide guidelines for supply chain operations, lead and implement initiatives in view of building the Supply Chain capabilities.
  • Review and implement supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
  • Focus on safety, quality, effective cost management and business growth in all interactions and directives.
  • Actively participate in fact-based negotiations with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders in the best interest of the Company and ensure effective contract management.
  • Own and manage the Group Supply Chain budget, approved by the Board of Directors.
  • Manage critical senior internal and external customer relationships to ensure compliance to the Group’s standards and approve project proposals for Strategic sourcing when required.
  • Determine whether total cost ownership can be addressed through any of the four main levers, viz. functional excellence, cross functional integration, organizational capability building or supplier integration.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all key suppliers.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements and take corrective measures as and when required.
  • Guide Category Specialists in conducting RFP/RFQ Process and manage Tender Process for assigned categories.
  • Conduct market analysis and study to forecast expected future pricing for different items in various categories.
  • Work in collaboration with treasury and other Business units for the procurement of goods through global sourcing.
  • Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.

Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree in Business management or any equivalent qualification.
  • Min 10 years of experience in Senior Management Position with at least 5 years of experience in Procurement Practices in the Hospitality Industry.
  • Experience in managing procurement for complex projects would be an advantage.
