This position is responsible for the management of Brink’s fleet of vehicles and the execution of a preventative maintenance program.

 

•    Ensure compliance with governance rules such as SOX, Health & Safety and Brinks policies
•    Ensure a proper follow up on a daily basis of the servicing and repairs plans of vehicles (cars, trucks, electrical bikes, push bikes, motorcycle, boats, club car, etc).  
•    Coordinate renewal of company vehicles in accordance to Brink’s procedures
•    Implement and monitor a preventative maintenance program through monthly inspection of vehicles and follow up of mileage run.    
•    Consolidate and communicate departmental KPI linked to repairs to the compliance and quality manager.   
•    Perform the forecast of fleet expenses and communicate the provision to the Accounting and Finance department as per internal procedures. 
•    Maintains a complete inventory system and performs issue of purchase orders and recording of expenditures in relation to repairs, accident excess, tyre renewals of any vehicle (cars, trucks, electrical bikes, push bikes, motorcycle, boats, club car, etc). 
•    Update and ensure a close follow up of open purchase orders.   
•    Serve as liaising officer between lessor and Lessee with regards to Brink’s fleet and remains responsible for redirecting requests, issues and information to stakeholders.   
•    Conduct follow-up of vehicle accidents such as assisting the concerned employees, coordinating with insurance broker, communication and reporting to internal departments, organizing replacement vehicles, etc. 
•    Coordination of the whole process of spare vehicle management with relevant stakeholders in case of breakdown or accidents.   
•    Ensures a timely and systematic follow up, renewal and distribution of certificates (license (inclusive of boat), B-Carriers license, insurance vignette, fitness certificate, fire extinguishers) so that all vehicles remain operational. 
•    Coordinate the management of Fuel Card process (request, collection and distribution to relevant stakeholders) and ensure their safe keeping. 
•    Ensures timely management and transmission of KPI’s linked to petrol consumption with relevant stakeholders.   
•    Coordinate with relevant authorities for fitness appointment as per established calendar based on fitness certificate expiry. 
•    Support the company in the sustainability transformation towards a green fleet.
•    Ensure that fitness appointments are respected through physical presence with the respective vehicle.
•    Prepare KPIs in accordance to the departments’ requirements for Brink’s Indian Ocean as per Brink’s Standard
 

 

Knowledge & Experience: 
•    Minimum degree in Management
•    At least 3 years of experience in team management
•    Experience in planning and logistics management preferred
•    Valid driving licence (private car -manual)
•    Intermediate user of Microsoft office tools
•    Good understanding and knowledge of finance and budgeting
•    LEAN Management certification
