The Events/Entertainment coordinator is responsible to provide the design, development, execution and evaluation of all shows, entertainment and corporate events, as well birthdays.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Host regular and special events
  • Assist in the design and development of the events plans, programs and calendar for each year/season
  • Analyze venues and ensure suitability for particular types of events
  • Ensure that all group bookings/events confirmed by sales are attended operationally
  • Propose new ideas to attract clients and to increase revenue
  • Propose banquet events proposals and quotes by adhering to set guidelines
  • Develop programs/teams to create and execute new and innovative ways to promote entertainment
  • Assist in the creation of detailed run of show for events and be part of on-site production to ensure smooth execution of events including critical decisions regarding event management in the field as related to staffing, event logistics, event control, emergency management and safety and breakdown
  • Create and search for creative entertainment contents to develop new shows and entertainment
  • Create new in-house live entertainment programs
  • Conduct Site inspection with the client prior to the event to ensure proper understanding
  • Ensure in managing on-site issues on the event day to ensure smooth running of the operation and to provide an excellent customer’s experience in a consistent manner
  • Handle events (Private, Corporate and Public events) and entertainment
  • Perform any other cognate duties as may be necessary in the circumstances and/or required by the employer
Candidate’s profile
  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Events Management or any other relevant discipline
  • 03 years’ relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Internal and External Client Service orientation
  • Be proactive, detailed-oriented and organized
  • Excellent skills on hosting and events management
  • Be flexible and work irregular hours as required
