Chief Marketing Officer

Responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of an organization's marketing and sales initiatives. Execute vital role in a company's growth and have important responsibilities that range from creative influence to business strategy.

Direct Responsibilities:

• Establish product and market strategy and set up a Marketing plan for the Company in line with the Company’s objective.
• Responsible for the sales growth for the domestic and regional market.
• Set up KPI’s for the sales and devise means to measure KPI’s.
• Set up from scratch and manage a system of Customer Relationship Management.
• Lead and motivate the Sales Team to achieve best result possible.
• Setting activity and revenue target for members of the sales team as per approved Company budget.
• Continual training and development of the whole Sales and Marketing Department.
• Organising and attending key meeting with members of the Sales and Marketing team.
• Prepare and present monthly report sales performance against budget abd report in variances.
• Understanding barriers and Engineering Consultant requirement and develop a comprehensive product strategy for Mauritius.
• Formulate and execute business development plan for new products.
• Constantly review the Sales and Marketing structure with a view to innovate and promote team spirit.
• Identify key areas for improvement for the sales and marketing process.
• Suggest improvements to working practices.

Specific duties & responsibilities:

• Ensure your understanding of the Company’s Mission statement & Quality Policy in the context of MS ISO 9001-2015
• Compliance with the Company’s Safety and Health Policy / Procedures within the organization. Respect and implement the Quality Management Systems Policies and Procedures.
• Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformity within your working area.
• Work under strict supervision of the head of department and participate actively in meeting the set goals and objectives of your department.
