Our Client is a trusted company in the chemical industry which specializes in providing a wide range of high-quality chemicals and solutions to various industries and has a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, product excellence, and environmental responsibility.
They are looking for a dynamic and dedicated professional to head an operations arm in Mauritius.
Duties and responsibilities:
Sales
- Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets and increase market share within the designated industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their unique requirements and providing tailored chemical solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential customers, market trends, and business growth opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations that effectively communicate the value proposition of the company’s chemical product range.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop innovative sales strategies, penetrate new markets, and meet overall sales objectives.
- Monitor and track sales performance, providing regular reports and recommendations to optimize sales effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory data in the company’s database.
Customer Service
- Serve as point of contact for customer inquiries, providing prompt and professional responses to their queries and concerns.
- Address customer complaints and concerns with empathy and efficiency, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer relationships, identify customer needs, and propose appropriate chemical solutions.
- Actively seek feedback from customers, relay valuable insights to the sales and management teams.
Supply Chain & Logistics
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to source products in Africa and enhance operational efficiency.
Profile
- Sales and admin driven professional with a chemical/fertilizer background will be an advantage
- Proven experience in sales and logistics
- Strong knowledge of Import/Export, logistics operations, and sales techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data
- Ability to work independently
Additional Information:
- The position is open to Mauritian citizens as well as expatriates
- This position offers the flexibility of working from home; however, the person may occasionally be required to travel for business purposes. Travel requirements will vary based on business needs.
