The Café LUX* Manager will oversee and direct all the activities of the Café LUX* Outlet. The incumbent will direct the entire operation of the Café LUX*.
Main Responsibilities within Café LUX* Outlet:
- Assist in overseeing the day to day operations and overall management of the outlet;
- Plan and work according to budgets, maximise profits and achieve sales targets;
- Ensure that standards of hygiene are maintained at all times and that the outlet complies with health and safety regulations;
- Handle Guests complaints and queries;
- Prepare regular weekly reports which include performance analysis documentations such as Sales report, forecast, budget, new happenings and Guest Satisfaction Comments;
- Define yearly and monthly sales forecast;
- Closely follow-up sales forecast and actual revenue, and take appropriate actions in order to exceed established sales targets;
- Maximise the aesthetic appeal of outlet by the use of display;
- Coach and train all Team Members, acting as a role model;
- Provide full support to Team Members in their duties and responsibilities;
- Ensure an active presence within the outlet, interacting with all Guests on a daily basis;
- Provide hands-on support at all levels;
- Organise stock and equipment, order supplies and oversee cleanliness of the outlet;
- To optimise stock availability and control wastage. Develop and maintain systems to ensure efficient ordering and stock control and manage Team Member training in stock rotation and food care.
Qualifications:
- At least a National Certificate Level 4 in Restaurant and Bar Service or equivalent qualifications;
- Tertiary education at Advanced Certificate Level or Diploma majoring in Hospitality Management from a recognised institution.
Previous Performance:
- A minimum of 9 years of working experience in Food & Beverage operations preferably in a 5 star resort;
- A minimum of 3 years of working experience as Assistant Outlet Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager preferably in a 5 star resort.

- Proactive, dynamic, flexible and professional attitude with outstanding interpersonal skills and customer service skills;
- Organisational, financial and analytical skills;
- Ability to identify problems and provide solutions;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French languages. A third language will be a definite advantage;
- Sound knowledge of Micros;
- Willingness to work during odd hours, weekends as well as on public holidays;
- Valid driving license
- Valid Food Handlers’ Certificate;
- A clean certificate of character is a must.
