Job Purpose

The Community Engagement Representative is central to our Bingo proposition, tasked with creating and maintaining an inclusive, safe, and lively space where our customers can thrive.  One of the key aspects of the role will be to extend fun and entertainment of Bingo beyond the boundaries of gaming sessions, infusing a sense of community & belonging amongst customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Host Bingo rooms and actively engage with players to cultivate a sense of camaraderie and excitement during gaming sessions.
  • Initiate and moderate chat activities, such as games, trivia, and social discussions, to foster community engagement and participation.
  • Provide timely and informative updates on games, promotions, and responsible gaming features to players within the Bingo community.
  • Monitor chat interactions and player feedback to identify trends, preferences, and areas for improvement within Bingo rooms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, customer support, and compliance, to align Bingo room activities and social media efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Address player inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a friendly, empathetic, and solution-oriented manner within Bingo rooms.
  • Be aware of responsible gaming regulations and norms.
  • Coordinate with hosts, moderators, and special guests to enhance the entertainment value and engagement of Bingo rooms.
  • Analyse Bingo room metrics, chat logs, social media engagement, and player sentiment to evaluate the effectiveness of engagement strategies and recommend enhancements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure the community remains informed and engaged.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in community management and/or customer engagement, preferably with experience hosting Bingo chat rooms.
  • Strong understanding of online communities and digital engagement strategies.
  • Knowledge of responsible gaming principles and regulatory requirements is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and entertain customers.
  • Proficiency in using community management tools and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple Bingo rooms and activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
