Weighbridge Clerk
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Weighbridge Clerk is responsible for the operations of the weighbridge systems and to ensure all lorries entering and exiting LFL are weighed accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
•Ensure that all lorries entering and exiting the premises are weighed in compliance with the set weight tolerances, internal controls and safety requirements
•The weighing of lorries must be conducted pertaining to transfers, sales and purchase necessities
•Accurately input new data and update existing information in the system and ensure proper filling of the delivery documentation
•Attend customer enquiries such as weighbridge requests, invoice or service queries at all time
•Maintain and develop effective relationships with internal and external customers
•Make sure that work is performed in a safe manner, adhering to health and safety standards
•Verify that contractors entering the site are accurately equipped with required PPEs and are aware of company rules
•Ensure that any exceptions, malpractices, breach of regulations are brought to the attention of the Management when necessary
•Maintain the weighbridge, communication and computer equipment in good condition at all time
•Perform general administrative duties

Education, Experience and Skills:
•Holder of an HSC or Diploma in Logistics
•Experience in a similar post is an advantage
•Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft tools
•Knowledge of an ERP is an advantage
•Excellent verbal and written communication
•Ability to work under pressure
•Willing to work after hours and on weekend roster
•Interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity and a ‘Can Do’ attitude
•Detail-conscious with planning, organizational and time management skills
