Trade Marketing Representative

TNS Tobacco (An APTIS Group Company) is currently hiring a Trade Marketing Representative to join its team for a 6-months contract!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Role Purpose:

The role purpose of the Trade Marketing Representative is to drive success through the implementation of marketing strategies by supporting the distribution teams and by leveraging leadership position to gain competitive advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities:

These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Achieve the company's objectives: volume and value share, numeric and weighted distribution for our brands, OOS, merchandising and communication.

- Implementing the trade marketing and distribution plan which is in line with brand/price strategy and the needs of the trade.

- Achieve trade coverage, visit frequency and outlet visit plan in order to maximize route effectiveness and efficiency.

- Input the following information in the system to ensure that the Sales & Operations Manager is informed at all times:

• Field information and reports on market trends
• Competitor’s performance
• Level of achievement of own strategy
• Stock levels
• Consumer complaints
• Other opportunities
• Any other information required by Management

- Monitor the distributor, stockists, and retailers through the implementation of territory strategies and plans in order to maximize volume, share and other distribution management parameters performance.

- Ensure that the territory volume and distribution objectives of the company's brands are achieved by trade channel and outlet type in order that availability is maximized in line with brand strategies and the needs of the market.

- Ensure optimal stock levels, product quality and freshness through stock management, orientation to the trade and reporting on supply chain and product issues.

- Ensure that price is in line with the company strategy.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Qualification:

• Diploma/ Degree in Marketing or similar field

Experience: 

• 2-5 years of experience in sales/ similar position

Knowledge and Technical Competencies: 

• Computer Literate

Behavioral Competencies: 

• Self-driven
• Independent
• Team player

Others:

• A valid manual driving licence

This position is offered as a 6-month contract.
