Human Capital Coordinator

This position will report to the Human Capital Operations Manager and will provide support in different outlets on a day-to-day basis while ensuring seamless execution of various Human Capital processes and projects.

 

Roles and responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the talent acquisition process, including job posting, candidate screening and conducting interviews;
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires;
  • Promote a harmonious, positive and inclusive work environment to build on employee engagement;
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective solutions;
  • Provide assistance in disciplinary and grievance management, in line with company practices and local legislation;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records on both Human Capital Information Systems and physical files, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements;
  • Assist with time and attendance maintenance, payroll and ad-hoc Human Capital projects;
  • Assist in compilation, production and submission of reports on general Human Capital activity;
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a learning and  performance-driven culture;
  • Assist in establishing learning and development needs and implementing defined learning strategies in the outlets to enhance the learning culture
  • Ensure that the offboarding process is carried out seamlessly.
Qualifications and Experience: 
  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resources OR any other equivalent qualification
  • 2 years of proven experience in a similar position
  • Conversant with MS Office package
  • Good understanding of the local FMCG sector or Retail business can be an advantage
  • Holder of a valid driving licence

  • Sound knowledge of Human Capital administration

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Effective communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Detail and results-oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with highly confidential information with absolute discretion
  • Available to work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, as well as odd hours
