Leal Communications & Informatics Ltd (LCI) is currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join its dynamic and dedicated team of professionals.

 

The Business Development Manager will mainly engage with customers and close sales related to Turnkey/Software Solutions and services;  develop and implement latest Software solutions in line with market demands and develop strong relationships with customers

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To manage turnkey/software projects from end to end.
  • To ensure that SLAs on Software Services are being met.
  • Acquire in depth knowledge of our software and Cloud solutions as well as a thorough knowledge of the market to identify potential for customised solutions.
  • To locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • To respond to tenders concerning software solutions, Cloud and other IT requirements.
  • To propose the company's software and Cloud offerings and solutions to clients and promote the Company's products and services by delivering corporate presentations and software demonstrations
  • To arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • To set up and im
  • plement the most appropriate selling strategies and ensure adequate product differentiation both in terms of price and quality.
  • To closely monitor the market trend as well as competitors' strategy and timely react to situations which may adversely affect LCI market share.
  • To meet sales figures as established in the budget.
  • To monitor and ensure that all RFQ, RFP's and Tenders are being efficiently analysed, timely prepared according to customer requirements and submitted within agreed deadline.
  • To ensure that there a systematic follow up is performed for all RFQ's and RFP's issued to customers and monitor feedback for timely review of RFQ's and RFP's to maximise sales.
  • To ensure that for all won Tenders, RFQ's and RFP's, the right products are being timely ordered in the right quality and quantity and ensure that all products are being delivered on time.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Software, Business Solution and Engineering teams of the Company to maximise on cross-selling opportunities.
  • To maintain a professional relationship with Customers and build long - term relationships with new and existing Customers.
  • Responsible to maintain an efficient control of major projects under your responsibility and systematically liaise with the customer and technical team to ensure that all projects are being efficiently implemented and commissioned as per the Project plan to ensure total customer satisfaction.
  • Jointly with the Marketing Executive, responsible to promote awareness of Software solutions and cloud services with a targeted market
  • Jointly with the Marketing Executive, responsible to set up and implement product promotion/awareness campaigns at regular intervals in the most cost-effective manner to boost up sales.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with Suppliers and to seek for their technical and financial assistance on major projects as well as to systematically negotiate for competitive prices.
  • Responsible to efficiently perform any other managerial duties as may be requested by the COO.

 

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • A University Degree (BA/BSC) in ICT and/or Sales/Marketing or any relevant professional qualification.
  • Proven experience in a management position for at least 5 years.
  • Min 5 years’ experience in direct sale of Software/Enterprise solutions to corporate customers and capable of interacting at CxOs level with successful track-record in sales prospection, acquisition and customer relationship.
  • Project Management experience ideally backed by certification will be highly desirable.
  • A passion for Information Technology and a wide knowledge of the use of new technologies in a business environment.
  • A good knowledge of the local business community
  • Strong interpersonal relationship abilities along with an excellent presentation and communications skills.
  • Ability to formulate and develop the LCI Software/Enterprise IT solution offerings and set out an action plan with key performance objectives and deadlines for a successful execution.
  • Display a solid eagerness and sincere approach towards providing intelligent solutions and services.
  • Self driven and motivated person
  • Capability to engage with senior executives easily
  • Flexibility in working hours is a must
