Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities for revenue generation and market expansion.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
- Negotiate and close deals with potential clients and partners, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and potential growth areas.
- Analyse product offerings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities of key competitors.
- Assist in gathering and interpreting customer feedback and purchasing behaviours to inform business strategy.
- Support product mapping and gap analysis to recommend new product introductions or improvements.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align strategies, identify potential partnerships, and explore expansion avenues.
- Develop detailed reports and dashboards using Excel to present research findings and actionable insights.
- Prepare presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support business growth objectives.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience as a business developer, sales executive, or in a similar role in business development. Proven experience in B2B sales and strategic partnerships.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. Fluency in English and French.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Driving license is a must.
