Ensuring that the factory's tea blending and grading operations are carried out efficiently and within set quality standards. This position requires an individual with knowledge of tea production processes, keen attention to detail, and strong supervisory skills.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and supervise the tea blending process, ensuring accurate formulations based on customer requirements and company specifications.
    • Work closely with the production team to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of blends.
    • Monitor the consistency and quality of blended teas and ensure the proper mixing techniques are applied.
    • Ensure that blending equipment is maintained in good condition and report any malfunctions to the maintenance department.
    • Supervise the grading and sorting process to ensure that all tea is accurately categorized based on grade, color, and size.
    • Conduct regular checks on tea quality during the blending and grading processes.
    • Ensure that all blends and grades meet the quality specifications and customer
    • Supervise a team of workers engaged in the blending and grading process.
    • Provide training and guidance to new and existing staff on best practices in blending and grading.
    • Ensure adherence to safety protocols within the factory, particularly in the handling of equipment, machinery, and raw materials.
    • Maintain detailed records of production processes, blending recipes, and grading results.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports on blending and grading performance.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance blending and grading efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

At least School Certificate level

Certification in Tea Processing would be an advantage

Minimum of 3 years of experience in tea production, specifically in blending and grading.

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a tea factory or similar production environment.

Proficient in Excel and Word.

Strong understanding of quality control principles

Ability to identify and solve problems quickly and effectively.

High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
