Beachcomber Catering is looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Manager to join their business unit.
Main responsibilities:
•Maintain and manage the established food safety and quality management system,
•Ensure continuous improvement of procedures and compliance with regulatory standards,
•Ensure that products meet all customer specifications and client expectations,
•Conduct internal and supplier audits to verify compliance with standards,
•Respond effectively to feedback from internal and external clients,
•Ensure employees are fully trained on food safety and quality control procedures,
•Analyze trends in customer feedback, conduct verification activities and report findings to top management.
Qualifications and profile:
•A master’s degree or higher in a scientific discipline or a related field,
•Minimum 3-5 of years’ experience in a similar position within the food industry,
•Solid understanding of food safety standards, including HACCP, ISO 22000 and QA processes,
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
•Willingness to work flexible hours, including Sundays, public holidays and cyclonic days,
•Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines,
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels,
•Strong teamwork and leadership abilities
