Job Description

Alteo Agri Ltd is recruiting an experience Butcher to prepare, cut, trim, and process meat products in accordance with quality, hygiene, and food safety standards while ensuring optimal product presentation, minimizing waste, and providing efficient service to meet customer and operational requirements.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cut, trim, debone, and portion meat products according to specifications and customer requirements
  • Prepare meat products for sale or distribution while maintaining product quality and freshness.
  • Ensure appropriate labelling, weighing, and packaging of meat products.
  • Inspect meat products to ensure they meet established quality and food safety standards.
  • Monitor freshness and report any spoilage, contamination, or quality concerns.
  • Receive, store, and organize meat supplies and related materials.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and storage facilities regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Report equipment defects and ensure proper maintenance of tools and machinery.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Respond to customer requests and provide information on meat cuts and preparation methods.
  • Support other operational activities as required.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management within the scope of the role.
