Job Description
We are looking for a well‑versed and experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee warehouse operations, manage logistics, and ensure efficient planning of deliveries. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, leadership ability, and proven expertise in inventory control and compliance standards.
1. Warehouse Operations Management
Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Ensure proper handling, labeling, and tracking of inventory.
Maintain accurate stock records and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
2. Logistics & Delivery Planning
Coordinate delivery schedules in line with operational priorities.
Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure timely dispatch.
Monitor fleet utilization and optimize delivery routes for efficiency.
3. Inventory Control & Reporting
Conduct regular stock counts and audits to maintain accuracy.
Prepare inventory reports for management and highlight variances.
Implement FIFO/LIFO principles to minimize wastage and obsolescence.
4. Compliance & Safety
Ensure warehouse operations comply with company policies and legal standards.
Enforce health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
Report hazards or unsafe practices immediately to management.
5. Team Supervision & Coordination
Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
Provide training and guidance to ensure adherence to procedures.
Foster teamwork and discipline among warehouse personnel.
6. Continuous Improvement
Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Implement best practices in logistics and warehouse management.
Support management in strategic planning for warehouse expansion or upgrades.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of delivery planning, fleet scheduling, and route optimization.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Excel.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Strong communication skills in English and Kreol (advantageous).
Knowledge of compliance standards and health & safety regulations.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
