Accounts Officer

 

We are currently looking for an Accounts Officer to join the team at the Head Office in Mauritius.

In this role, the successful candidate should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills with a goal to produce accurate and timely reports.

 

 

 What you will be doing:

 

• Accurately post, update and maintain records of all daily transactions after thorough validation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ability to process and scrutinise data to verify the validity of any discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from several sources.
• Detail-oriented computation and organisation skills to ensure accurate reconciliation.
• Generating financial statements and reports clearly
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting requirements.

 

 

What are we looking for?

 

• Min HSC with Accounting
• ACCA Qualification Level 1 will be an advantage
• Sound knowledge of International Accounting Standards
• Proven working experience in the accounting field
• Knowledge of Oracle and Excel
• Problem solving skills
• Good communication skills
• A self-learner with the ability to work independently as well as in a team and under pressure.
• Well versed in customer service and negotiation skills
