Job Description

Main Duties:


  • Oversee all daily manufacturing and packing activities.
  • Ensure production targets and customer deadlines are achieved.
  • Monitor factory efficiencies and operational performance indicators.
  • Ensure minimal downtime and production interruptions.
  • Supervise production managers to ensure efficient production scheduling, correct machine utilization, compliance with production standards, and          reduction of wastage and rework.
  • Monitor production yields, losses, and machine efficiencies.
  • Participate in planning of new products, packaging formats, and operational improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with BRCGS, food safety standards, and customer specifications.
  • Promote a strong quality culture throughout the factory.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance programs and rapid breakdown response.
  • Support continuous technical improvements and factory modernization projects.
  • Monitor maintenance KPIs and machine downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate risk assessments, safety audits, staff training, and legal compliance.
  • Ensure safe working practices throughout all factory operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Reduce waste, product giveaway, and downtime.
  • Lead and motivate departmental managers and supervisors.
  • Promote accountability, discipline, teamwork, and performance culture.
  • Develop and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
  • Analyze forecasts and anticipate seasonal demand fluctuations.
  • Monitor actual production versus planned production and implement corrective actions.
  • Optimize production sequencing to reduce changeovers, downtime, packaging waste, and material losses.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules into production planning.

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Post HSC, Degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Operations Management, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science,or  related field with at least 10 years’ experience in manufacturing or food processing operations and a minimum of 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment would be an advantage.
