Job Description
- Operations Management: Ensures the store is clean, organized, stocked, and running smoothly — core duties of a supervisor.
- Customer Service: Handling enquiries, complaints, and encouraging upselling shows a balance of service and sales focus.
- Team Leadership: Supervising, motivating, training, and mentoring staff is central to a supervisory role.
- Inventory Control: Monitoring stock, coordinating with suppliers, and minimizing loss are critical for profitability.
- Cash Handling: Overseeing registers and reporting sales ensures financial accountability.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforcing health, safety, and security guidelines reflects responsibility and risk management.
- Performance Management: Conducting evaluations and supporting HR tasks shows involvement in staff development.
- Brand Standards: Maintaining displays and presentation ties directly to customer experience and brand image.
- To perform any other cognate duties as may be assigned by higher Management. Note: This role may require working on weekends, public holidays, and evenings, and involves extended periods of standing and occasional lifting of stock
Qualifications

Higher School Certificate (HSC) or Diploma in
Retail Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar
supervisory position within retail.
Knowledge & Technical Competencies

Strong understanding of retail operations and
inventory management.

Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and
basic MS Office tools (Excel, Word).

Knowledge of sales techniques, merchandising,
and loss prevention strategies.
- Ability to prepare and interpret sales and stock reports.
