Position overview:

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. This role involves contributing across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

For this position, strong expertise in .NET development is essential, as the role includes designing and implementing business applications and custom solutions using the following technology stack, including React, .NET Framework/.NET, ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure.

As part of our team, you will work on a variety of projects, collaborating closely with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative software solutions that address business needs and create value.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop, test, and maintain web and enterprise applications using .NET / ASP.NET Core, React for SharePoint Online  

·       Design, develop, and optimize database structures and queries using SQL Server

·       Translate UI/UX designs into functional and responsive web applications in collaboration with designers

·       Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, security, and adherence to best practices

·       Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and efficient code

·       Integrate and leverage AI-powered features and services (e.g. document intelligence intelligent search, or API-based AI services) where applicable

·       Explore and apply AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency, testing, and debugging processes

·       Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues across applications

·       Maintain and enhance existing applications based on business and client requirements

·       Support deployment processes, including version control and release management

·       Conduct application testing to ensure quality and stability before deployment

·       Participate in technical discussions during early project stages with clients and stakeholders

·       Stay up to date with emerging technologies, including AI, cloud services, and modern development practices

Requirements:

v Education

·       At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or any related field

·       Candidates with relevant professional certifications

·       Valid Microsoft certifications (e.g., .NET, Azure) would be an advantage

v Experience

·       At least 2 years of proven work experience in Software Development.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

·       Attention to detail and commitment to quality

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team

·       Good communication skills (English & French)

·       Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously

·       Willingness to continuously learn and obtain required certifications

·       Professional and client-focused attitude

v Technical Familiarity

·       Programming Languages & Frameworks: C#, .NET / .NET Core

·       Front-End: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript; experience with React, Angular, or similar frameworks is a plus

·       Databases: SQL Server, database design, queries, and optimization

·       APIs & Integration: Developing and consuming RESTful APIs

·       Development Environment: Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code

·       Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab

·       Collaboration & Project Tools: Trello, Microsoft Teams or equivalent
