Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Financial
Compliance & Reporting
- Draft
the statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with IFRS and
the Group’s internal financial reporting framework.
- Support
the Finance Manager in managing tax filings, VAT submissions, and other
regulatory obligations.
- Manage
all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable and treasury.
- Audit
& Controls
- Coordinate
with external auditors during annual audits and resolve queries promptly.
- Implement
and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure
compliance with financial regulations.
- Accounts
Payable & Receivable
- Manage
and develop the Accounts Payable team to ensure timely and accurate
vendor payments.
- Manage
the Accounts Receivable team to optimize collections and manage credit
risk.
- Monitor
aging reports and escalate issues to the Finance Manager as needed.
- Treasury
Management
- Deliver
weekly cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
- Assist
in managing banking relationships and treasury operations.
- Ensure
efficient use of funds and compliance with treasury policies.
- Tax
compliance
- Review
the period VAT and corporate tax returns to ensure full compliance with
local tax regulations
- Proactively
manage the impact of changes to local and international regulations
- Support
the finance manager in ensuring forecast accuracy and early visibility of
tax liabilities
- Team
Leadership
- Provide
guidance, training, and performance management to AP, AR, Treasury and
tax team members (currently 8).
- Foster
a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Professional finance qualification
(e.g., ACCA, CPA, ACA).
- Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 3–5
years of experience in finance or accounting, with exposure to audit, tax,
and compliance.
- Strong
knowledge of VAT, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience
managing AP/AR and treasury functions.
- Excellent
analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong
leadership and communication abilities.
