We Are Hiring – HR Assistant (6-Month Fixed Term Contract)
Currimjee Jeewanjee and Company
Limited is looking for a motivated,
organised, and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join its People & Culture team on a
six-month fixed term contract.
This role offers a great
opportunity to gain hands-on exposure across the full employee lifecycle,
including onboarding, recruitment support, training coordination, and HR
operations within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
You will play a key role in
ensuring a seamless employee experience through accurate data management,
efficient processes, and strong administrative support to the People &
Culture team.
What You Will Be Doing
·
Ensuring employee records are accurate,
complete, and well-maintained on HR systems (Sicorax).
·
Supporting onboarding by
preparing employee files and welcome packs for a smooth and engaging start.
·
Managing employee documentation
throughout onboarding and exit processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
·
Assisting with interview
scheduling and recruitment coordination to support a smooth hiring process.
·
Supporting the organisation of
training sessions, including logistics, communication, and record management.
·
Helping maintain proper HR filing
systems and ensuring documents are easily accessible and well organised.
·
Assisting in HR administrative
tasks such as procurement of onboarding materials and office supplies.
·
Working closely with the People
& Culture team to ensure timely follow-up of HR activities and requests.
What We Are Looking For
·
Diploma in Human Resource
Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Degree will be an
advantage).
·
At least 1 year of experience in
an administrative role (HR exposure is an advantage).
·
Well
versed in Microsoft Office tools.
·
Strong attention to detail and
excellent organisational skills.
·
A proactive, positive, and
solution-oriented mindset.
·
Ability to handle confidential
information with professionalism.
·
Strong communication skills and
a willingness to learn and grow.
