Installation Electrician – Solar Energy Sector

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Installation Electrician to join our team and support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar energy systems across Mauritius.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation works for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
• Carry out AC electrical connections between solar systems and clients' electrical distribution boards.
• Install, test, and commission electrical equipment in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and corrective maintenance when required.
• Ensure all installations comply with applicable electrical codes and quality standards.
• Complete site inspections and verify the proper functioning of installed systems.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed works and technical reports.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.

Profile Required

• Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably within the solar, electrical, construction, or renewable energy sectors.
• Good knowledge of AC electrical installations and electrical distribution systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Valid driving licence preferred.
• Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach to work.
