Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of
day-to-day financial transactions — posting sales, purchases, expenses,
and journals in Navision with precision
- Prepare bank, supplier,
and customer reconciliations and keep balance sheet schedules clean and
review-ready
- Maintain the fixed asset
register and support depreciation and lease accounting
- Prepare draft VAT and
TDS returns and keep statutory filings on track — no missed deadlines, no
surprises
- Drive debtors
management: timely invoicing, monthly statements, and proactive follow-up
on outstanding balances
- Handle creditors
end-to-end: supplier invoices, payment vouchers, statement
reconciliations, and purchase order support
- Contribute to monthly
and annual management reporting with accurate, well-prepared financial
data
- Play a key role during
audits by keeping records complete, traceable, and audit-ready year-round
- Spot discrepancies
early, solve problems, and bring fresh ideas to improve how we work
Qualifications and Experience
- ACCA Level 2 and/or a
degree in Accounting or Finance
- A minimum of 2 to 3
years' experience in a similar accounting role
- Hands-on experience with
accounting software — knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision is a strong
advantage
- Solid grasp of VAT, TDS,
and statutory compliance requirements
- Sharp analytical skills
and an eye for detail that doesn't miss a thing
- Strong communication and
interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with suppliers,
debtors, and auditors
- The ability to stay
composed and deliver under pressure
- Integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial information
