We're looking for a Management Accountant with a strong academic track record and 3+ years' experience who thrives on budgeting, forecasting, and turning numbers into meaningful insights.

Skills / Experience / Qualifications Required

·        CIMA / Acc / Bcom Acc qualification or equivalent is required
·        3 years of relevant management accounting experience is required.
·        Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
·        Experience preparing and presenting management accounts to senior stakeholders.
·        Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, financial modelling).
·        Exposure to ERP or financial reporting systems.
·        Commercially minded with the ability to interpret financial data in a business context.
·        Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Job Description

·        Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
·        Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads.
·        Conduct variance analysis and provide meaningful commentary on financial performance.
·        Monitor and manage cost centres, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
·        Produce KPI dashboards and financial reporting packs for senior management.
·        Support strategic business decisions through scenario modelling and financial analysis.
·        Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and audit files.
·        Ensure all management accounting processes are accurate, well-documented, and compliant.
·        Collaborate with operational teams to improve financial awareness and reporting quality.
·        Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems, tools, and processes.
