Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a comprehensive training program across various hotel departments, including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Kitchen, Human Resources, Finance, and Sales & Marketing.
  • Learn and apply company policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Assist departmental managers in the daily operations and administrative functions.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining high standards of hospitality and professionalism.
  • Observe and support operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and project assignments as directed by management.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and management briefings.
  • Develop knowledge of hotel systems, procedures, and performance indicators.
  • Assist in handling guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support the implementation of hotel initiatives, events, and special projects.
  • Maintain effective communication and teamwork with colleagues across all departments.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and security standards.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working in different departments and shifts as required.
  • Complete all assigned training modules, evaluations, and development plans within the specified timelines.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous internship or work experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability.
  • Fluent in English and French; additional languages will be an advantage.
