Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a comprehensive training program across various hotel departments, including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Kitchen, Human Resources, Finance, and Sales & Marketing.
- Learn and apply company policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Assist departmental managers in the daily operations and administrative functions.
- Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining high standards of hospitality and professionalism.
- Observe and support operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and project assignments as directed by management.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and management briefings.
- Develop knowledge of hotel systems, procedures, and performance indicators.
- Assist in handling guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Support the implementation of hotel initiatives, events, and special projects.
- Maintain effective communication and teamwork with colleagues across all departments.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and security standards.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working in different departments and shifts as required.
- Complete all assigned training modules, evaluations, and development plans within the specified timelines.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous internship or work experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability.
- Fluent in English and French; additional languages will be an advantage.
