Job Description

Job responsibilities:
  • Conduct site surveys and energy audits for residential and commercial solar PV projects.
  • Collect and analyze site data, including roof structure, shading, orientation, and energy consumption profiles.
  • Prepare feasibility studies, technical proposals, and solar resource assessments using industry software.
  • Assist in the design and sizing of grid-tied and hybrid solar PV systems.
  • Prepare technical drawings, single-line diagrams, layouts, and equipment schedules.
  • Support the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material lists, and project cost estimates.
  • Ensure system designs comply with applicable standards, regulations, and utility requirements.
  • Provide on-site supervision and technical support during installation, ensuring quality, safety, and timely project completion.
  • Coordinate with installation teams, subcontractors, and suppliers while resolving technical issues during project execution.
  • Assist with testing, commissioning, performance verification, and preparation of commissioning reports and handover documentation.
  • Maintain accurate project records and support the preparation of technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory submissions.
  • Support client interactions through technical presentations, briefings, post-installation assistance, and responses to technical queries. 
Additional requirements:
  • Fresh graduates or candidates less than 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
  • Knowledge of engineering software and tools relevant to the field (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, SketchUp, MATLAB, SolidWorks, ETAP, etc.).
  • Exposure to project implementation, maintenance, design, or technical support activities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in technical work.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to conduct site assessments.
  • Valid driving license (often preferred for site-based roles).
