Job Description

Our client is recruiting a Digital Marketing Specialist, who will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing digital marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and improve performance across all digital platforms. The role requires strong analytical skills, creativity, autonomy, and close collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Job Description

Digital & Social Media Strategy

·       Develop and implement digital and social media marketing strategies by analyzing the brand universe, target audience, segmentation, and competitive landscape.

·       Study audience behavior and identify opportunities to strengthen brand positioning and engagement.

·       Brainstorm and propose innovative growth strategies across digital channels.

 

Content & Editorial Management

·       Build and manage editorial calendars across platforms.

·       Create and coordinate engaging text, image, and video content aligned with brand guidelines.

·       Collaborate with creative teams to develop creative briefs and guide content direction alongside the Digital Lead and Graphic Design team.

 

Social Media & Community Management

·       Manage a portfolio of social media accounts and pages to boost brand awareness and engagement.

·       Oversee community management, including monitoring, responding to messages, and engaging with audiences on clients’ accounts.

·       Build, maintain, and protect clients’ digital reputation and online presence.

 

Campaign Planning & Execution

·       Plan, execute, and optimize digital campaigns including social media, and paid Ads, including A/B testing and optimization

·       Identify trends and insights to optimize campaign performance and media spend.

 

Performance Tracking & Reporting

·       Define key performance indicators for digital campaigns.

·       Track, analyze, and report campaign performance (ROI, KPIs) through monthly or ad-hoc reports.

·       Provide clear insights, recommendations, and constructive feedback based on performance data.

 

Website & E-commerce Management

·       Lead website, landing page, and e-commerce projects in collaboration with developers.

·       Ensure website updates, corrections, performance optimization, and ongoing maintenance.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

·       Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Product Development teams, and external suppliers on ad-hoc projects.

·       Act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and providing proactive solutions when needed.   

Other tasks that help growing the brand on digital platforms requested by the Digital Lead.

Job requirements and qualifications

·     Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Web Development, or a related field

·     Minimum 2 years of experience in a Digital Marketing Specialist role or similar

·     Strong verbal and written communication skills in French, Creole, and English

·     Solid knowledge of social media management, digital marketing, web analytics

·     Experience in audience analysis and buyer persona development

·     Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

·     Excellent multitasking, time management, and organizational abilities

·     Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team

·     Strong interpersonal and communication skills

·     Familiarity with content creation and basic design tools

·     Flexibility to work outside standard hours, including evenings and weekends when required

·     Proficiency with social media and project management tools such as Trello, Canva, Angsana, and similar platforms

·     Solution-oriented with a proactive and autonomous approach to work

·     Able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and strategic focus
