As the Butler Service Manager, you will lead a dedicated team
responsible for providing personalized service to our guests. You will oversee
the daily operations of our butler services, ensuring that every guest feels
valued and attended to. Your role will involve:
- Own the full
butler programme, people, process, standards, and guest outcomes
- Recruit,
develop, and retain a team of skilled butlers; build succession depth and
a culture of pride in craft
- Design and
deliver structured training and onboarding programmes aligned to St. Regis
brand standards and Forbes five-star criteria
- Establish and
continuously refine standard operating procedures, service rituals, and
butler deployment models
- Oversee
scheduling, rostering, and labour productivity to maintain exceptional
coverage within budget parameters
- Manage butler
pantry operations, amenity programmes, and equipment budgets
- Drive
pre-arrival intelligence, guest preference capture, and in-stay
personalisation across all channels
- Personally
manage the most complex VIP, diplomatic, and long-stay guests and
relationships
- Collaborate
closely with F&B, Housekeeping, Spa, Concierge, and Sales to deliver
seamlessly integrated luxury experiences
- Serve as a visible resort leader, contributing to wider operational planning and cross-departmental projects
We are looking for a candidate who possesses a Bachelor’s degree
(Licence Bac +3) and has relevant experience in luxury service management
within the tourism or travel industries. Key attributes include:
- Minimum 7
years in luxury hospitality butler or guest services, with at least 3
years in a management role
- Proven track
record of leading and developing high-performing butler or concierge teams
- Deep fluency
in St. Regis or comparable luxury brand service standards
- Bilingual in
English and French, essential; a third language is a strong advantage
- Experience in
a resort, island, or Indian Ocean property highly desirable
- Exceptional
interpersonal presence, cultural sensitivity, and composure under pressure
- A genuine passion for luxury hospitality and for mentoring others to feel the same
