Job Description
Responsibilities
- Ensure
that all departments are properly manned as per budget, coordinate
recruitment and selection process.
- Communicate
and work in close relation with Middle managers and upper-level Management
on all applicable HR and staffing matters.
- Prepare
monthly HR metrics/statistics/dashboard
- Ensure
that employees receive accurate and timely assistance or advice in
response to particular queries related to HR, work or personal issues.
- Keep
up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and legislation and adapt same to
company policy and procedure as needed.
- Supervision
of the administration of leaves and absences
- Administer,
monitor and improve the reward and recognition systems (financial and
non-financial) in order to motivate employees
- Assisting
to devise and implement a recruitment and retention strategy in a talent
management strategy
- Manage
employee relations and foster a positive work environment.
- Develop
and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Handle
employee relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including
disciplinary committees, warnings, cautions, etc.
- Any

Qualifications & Profile
- Bachelor
degree in Management/HR or equivalent
- Proven
work experience as HR Generalist (min 3 year in hospitality industry
desirable)
- Strong
knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Mauritius.
- Knowledge
of Sicorax HR & Vipertex
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated
organizational and time management skills
- Flexible,
ability to work on multi-tasks and handle pressure
- Excellent
communication skills both written and spoken
- Excellent team player
