Are you a results-driven engineering professional with a passion for operational excellence and team leadership?
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Engineering (BOH) to support the efficient operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our back-of-house facilities and technical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Oversee the maintenance and performance of BOH facilities, including plant rooms, kitchens, laundry, staff facilities, and utility systems
✔ Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineering supervisors and technicians
✔ Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and preventive maintenance programs
✔ Support engineering projects, renovations, asset management, and capital expenditure initiatives
✔ Monitor utility consumption and drive sustainability and cost-saving initiatives
✔ Collaborate with operational departments to ensure seamless support of resort operations
✔ Assist in budget preparation, purchasing processes, and contractor management
Requirements:
✔ Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
✔ 5–8 years of engineering experience, preferably within hospitality or large-scale facilities management
✔ Proven experience leading technical teams and managing engineering operations
✔ Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, and laundry systems
✔ Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills
