Job Description

Rogers Capital is hiring an IT Officer to join its IT team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining, supporting, and securing the information technology infrastructure within the organization. The job responsibilities encompass a wide range of technical tasks, from providing technical support to end-users to ensuring the integrity and availability of IT systems and data.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in providing IT support and system maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a team environment.
  • Ability to work on shift and during odd hours when required. Must have a valid motor vehicle driving license.

      Your Duties :                                                                                                                                                          

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in providing IT support and system maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, software, and network systems.

  • Provide technical assistance to end-users, resolve hardware and software issues promptly, and ensure positive user experiences.
  • Ensure the optimal performance of endpoints, keep applications updated for security and functionality, and conduct User Acceptance Testing for new releases.
  • Maintain an accurate IT asset register, tracking inventory, and assist in procurement activities.
  • Update and manage the active directory to reflect organizational changes and assist with user account management.
  • Support the IT needs of new employees during onboarding and ensuring secure off boarding procedures for departing employees.
  • Assist in the deployment of new applications and version releases and provide assistance during IT project planning and execution.
  • Ensure IT standards are meta cross branches, addressing IT- related issues, and ensuring operational IT equipment.

       •Provide technical support during special events and collaborate with relevant teams to ensure smooth IT operations.
