Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and driven Supply Chain Officer to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless flow of goods throughout our logistics and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Officer is responsible for planning and coordinating procurement, importation, replenishment, and supply chain activities to ensure the timely availability of products across the distribution and retail network.
- Manage the procurement cycle, including purchase order preparation, supplier follow-up, and coordination with international brand principals to ensure timely product availability.
- Coordinate import and logistics activities, working closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and relevant authorities to ensure efficient and compliant delivery of goods.
- Analyze sales trends, forecasts, promotional plans, and stock requirements to develop replenishment plans and support demand planning.
- Collaborate with the Stock Controller and commercial teams to monitor stock availability, optimize inventory levels, and support actions relating to slow-moving, excess, or ageing stock.
- Coordinate stock allocation and product availability to support retail operations, distribution customers, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Maintain accurate supply chain data and prepare reports on purchasing, supplier performance, stock coverage, forecasting, and key supply chain KPIs.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Retail, Finance, and Operations teams to align supply plans with business objectives and market demand.
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency, service levels, and operational performance while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or inventory management.
- Experience within importation, distribution, FMCG, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, wellness, or retail sectors is an advantage.
- Experience coordinating international suppliers and import shipments is preferred.
